SENIOR YEARS

Senior students in years 11 and 12 are engaged in one of two pathways: the SACE pathway or the Education & Skills Development pathway.

In order to successfully undertake the SACE, students need to have achieved certain benchmarks in the Australian Core Skills Framework. For a variety of reasons, not all students will be at those levels in year 11. Wiltja therefore provides an alternative learning program for those students who are still developing their foundational literacy and numeracy skills. 

Through a range of assessments, students are placed in the pathway which provides them with the best opportunity to reach their full potential.
