SACE completion demonstrates a long –term commitment to learning and opens up pathways into further education and training. To achieve their SACE, students need to complete the required number of compulsory and elective (free choice) subjects.

SACE Pathway - Course Structure
Stage 1 Compulsory Subjects
Students must achieve a C grade or better in all compulsory Stage 1 subjects. These are:
- Personal Learning Plan (PLP) – 10 credits
- Literacy – 20 credits
- Numeracy – 10 credits
Stage 2 Requirements
For SACE completion students must achieve a C grade or better in:
- Research Project A – 10 credits
- Any Stage 2 subjects – 60 credits
- Research Project B – 10 credits
- Any Stage 2 Tertiary Admission Subjects – 80 credits
Elective Subjects
Wiltja students have access to a range of elective subjects as part of their SACE studies including:
- Wood Technology

- Physical Education
- Visual Art
- Photography
- Music
- Media Studies
- Child Studies
- Food and Entertaining
- Textiles
- Scientific Studies
- History
